THE PAST GOVERNMENT

We all say old is gold. That's where I stick my guns and go back to the Kibaki's regime. Under his leadership we saw a lot of changes in economic growth which rose up-to 7.1 percent. This was a major achievement in Kenyan economy.

To add on that during post election skirmishes their was a major setback in economy but with all the challenges he managed to stabilize the economy.
When we go to governance he managed to implement the Constitution after the promulgation in 2010. He ensured that all the independent institutions worked without influence from the political class.

Learning institutions started receiving more students and they learned without paying huge amount of fees. Technology gained momentum as more people started owning mobile phone and access to the inter-net . Access to medical facilities were more accessible and people were all enjoying the good fruits from the government. Access to banking services became more reliable and mobile banking brought a drastic change.

Under his leadership, poverty levels in the country reduced from fifty six percent to forty six percent with the levels of food security improving. Furthermore, the agricultural sector, which is the backbone of our country's economy improved. Despite numerous challenges faced as a leader, he managed to fulfill his promise to make Kenya a prosperous nation.

With all this we always celebrate the achievement under the past government. Under his leadership he always insisted on electing leaders with vision and honest to ensure that the funds meant for development were always utilized. With his numerous speeches he always encouraged people to work extra hard and always remain focused in order to achieve the goals set.

Looking back with pride, I can confidently say that the former government under Kibaki's leadership, placed our country in the take-off to greater prosperity, equity and unity.

In conclusion we can say the past is gone and cannot be reversed but we always pick some positive lessons from them. Being a human being we are loved and hated in equal measures but we learn to forgive, forget and focus on the goals.

If you don't have the analytical skills of a hyena, who do you think won the 2007 elections?
A globally respected judge, Kriegler, said it was impossible to tell who won because both sides rigged massively, with most constituencies in Luo Nyanza reporting voting patterns of 98-120% of registered voters. This was after an investigation spanning more than 6 months.

I defer to his informed assertion.

Wacha kutumia scapegoat ya Kriegler as a means to evade answering the question. Voting patterns in Kenya have long been on tribal blocks. Compare Kibaki's PNU team and Raila's ODM team ANALYTICALLY. Deep down I know you know who won.
