True Nairobi was just a vast grazing land used by maasai from kajiado ,they would drive cattle from their ancestral land during dry weather through Nairobi towards ol ndoyo sabuk but their animals could not survive near that mountain and even by then the rain would have hit kajiado .The return journey would start.
Kikuyu from kiambu, muranga and other parts would meet masai for trading, by the time mzungu built the Lunatic Express he made Nairobi its headquarters. Development started an Nairobi ( place of cold water ) ikataamba
