These videos feature an interview with CDM Kiratu, a classical Kikuyu musician. In the interview, he recounts his fascinating and inspiring journey in life. Despite attaining music stardom while still in high school (A-level), he managed to pursue education and maintain formal employment throughout his music career, retiring only in 2006. He makes the shocking revelation that he has never alcohol, despite plying his trade in alcohol filled venues for more than five decades. This resolve, he says, was triggered by the problems he saw his father go through due to alcoholism.
