The General Elections 2022

Remember the media was to deliver the results before IEBC, since IEBC process is long and tedious. So media giving inconsistent figures with IEBC will show there were issues with the election. Is that hard to understand? As of yesterday, BBC, and all other international media were quoting the local media. What do you think they'll give their audience if the local media show a different result from what IEBC will give as final tally?
I sallenda 🤚✋

Utachoka.

How aviator? Expain why it is stupid to suggest media giving inconsistent figures with IEBC doesn't raise eyebrows
What figures are media giving now?
They had their day, and they gave us all sorts of figures.
What are they giving now?

And suppose they went all the way to 100% and gave a figure. Would you take their figure or IEBC's?

What I mean is that media demonstrated their incapacity to tally votes at a national level.

It's not a matter of me believing the media or IEBC. It's about a country with trust deficit. Some will believe IEBC, while the other will say chebukati changed figures. Haven't we been here before?

The forms have been available on the iebc platform for the whole world to tally for themselves.....they still are available....has anybody mentioned which forms have been altered since they were first entered?

I believe they also learnt something for next time...

Meanwhile...I thought pundits had wrtten Jim Orengo off...

James Orengo on Friday dwarfed the upward surge of his Siaya gubernatorial seat competitor Nicholas Gumbo to win the race with a substantial majority.
Orengo's win stamped the ODM party's authority in the county.
Siaya county's IEBC returning officer Catherine Bulinda announced Friday that Orengo won the race with 220,349 votes.

Gumbo, on the other hand, came second with 147,558.
The difference between the two candidates' scores is 72,791.
Millicent of UDA party was third with 4,678 votes whereas William Ochieng', an independent candidate, garnered 1,089 votes.
According to Bulinda over 374,000 people in Siaya county turned out to vote in Tuesday general election, representing a voter turnout of 70 per cent.
Siaya has 533,595 registered voters.
Bulinda noted that one per cent of the total votes cast were rejected.

ntv is still tallying, but we have trust issues same reason why we have enough printing capacity but we decided to print in Greece.

We moved from there before.
Are you still there?

Huh...have you come from Mars? If it was as simplistic as as you put it, we'd not be printing stickers in Europe and spending an average of ksh. 2500/- per voter to organize an election. A simple mistake raises a lot of doubt, because it's who we are
