Over the past few days our attention has been drawn towards the Covid-19 third wave and deservedly so because of the severe damage it has been causing.
However, the rot in statehouse has evolved and become gangrene requiring immediate amputation.
It seems statehouse is testing the waters with a few ideas going into 2022.
- Postponing the General Elections and passing a law to legalize it.
- Implementing the BBI without a referendum.
- Creating a 'grand coalition' government in 2022 with Uhuru as president, Raila, Mudavadi, Joho etc in the expanded executive.
