I was talking to a Pakistani late last year and he told me it's very hard to spot a teen pregnant and all men expect to marry virgins in their 30s.

My response to him was like this.

These pastoral communities share a similar tradition (called beading) where morans give beads to very young girls and sleep with them. Warani are adored in the community and the young girls feel privileged to be associated with them. Same could be the issue in parts of Baringo and Marsabit.
