Teacher murdered and burnt by irate parents over poor school results

Madam Daisy Mbathe Mbaluka a TSC employed teacher in a public school called Ndooni Primary School in Endau zone Mutitu Subcounty, Kitui east constituency is dead.

She was killed yesterday as she reported to duty for opening of the school.

Irate parents had camped at the school gate demanding transfer of all teachers due to what they called bad results.

Ministry of Education has closed the school after the teacher was killed and burned to ashes by irate parents.

KNUT executive Secretary Kitui branch Mr. Mutunga has condemned the incident and demamded that all teachers in the school be relocated and school closed.



The headteacher Mr. Dickson Musya has agreed with KNUT and recorded a statement demanding that all teachers in the school be relocated and the killers brought to book or he resigns.
