Former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, takes a swing at a schoolboy in Nairobi on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1980 during an exhibition match at a school for poor, orphaned and homeless boys. Ali was in Africa on a special mission for the United States, trying to drum up support for a boycott of the summer Olympics in Moscow.

Picture taken in 1952.This short man from Murang'a Jessie Kariuki was a thorn in the flesh of moderates/loyalists and the colonial state.They described him as an extremist.They "transported" Kariuki to Marsabit where he joined Lawrence Karugo,John Mbutu Koinange and Babu Kamau.Just goes to show that size matters,not!
The other two lads are the towering Oneko and on the left,62 year old Jomo.

You forgot to mention that the ferry was not motorized. I did the crossing in 1987 and we had to alight and pull the rope.
