President Kenyatta led a cabinet meeting today and they approved the National Security Advisory Committee’s measure to tame political tension in the country.
This comes days after two died in Maranga following a chaotic DP Ruto’s visit in the county. The Deputy was attending a church service and several youth started demonstrations, that led to losses
The riots have been condemned by several leader and the governor of the county announced that he will be attending all the functions held in the country to identify people who cause chaos.
It is rumored that the DP attended the cabinet meeting and was part of the decision making.
He was to attend a fund raising in Kisii this weekend but he has postponed it to next week after consultations with local leaders.
Now that he has postponed the function, I hope he will attend the National Praying service at State House on Saturday, otherwise he will be the talk of town until 2022
It will be remembered that he skipped the COVID-19 conference at KICC even after being invited and was later seen on social media distributing wheelbarrows
