Failed governance that is too lazy to fix laws that have lost relevance. Nobody should be agitating for citizenry at this day and age, especially if they were born in this country. This is the same problem faced by many people in the Nubi and Somali community. In the meantime, thousands of aliens have managed to buy citizenship after a few months of residence. I would rather have 100 unqualified people obtain citizenship by slipping through the checks than have 1 deserving case denied the same.
