State Capcha derailing IEBC

They can be done by anyone in River Rd as long as they have the capacity.
What would anyone do with a sticker to interfere with the election?

The problem is that Kenya is a low trust nation. We don't trust each other, we don't trust our systems. One misplaced sticker- out of even a genuine mistake- could elevate this mistrust to hysterical levels. Tempers are high now.

Who said anything about ability? Would you TRUST them not to print 5 more ballots for their preferred candidate?
Actually, I think every voter should be printing their own ballot. The control should be at the polling station where the ballot is registered, stamped, serialized and such.
Think of how much we can save as a country, plus the revenue to cybers who will print the 50m+ ballots.

Maybe it is a sticker on a phone or gadget labeled IEBC.

That's why the police are investigating, to know the nitty details yet we are already blaming Uhuru. Supposing tomorrow ruto cries about it, si mtasema azimio are importing IEBC stuff outside the stipulated procedure?
Let the police do their work, we are in a volatile country, if they are clean, no need of panicking, and crying kidnap by state agents. Or grounds for appeal are being prepared?

Does the number matter? IEBC should do things in a way that builds confidence. Remember that we fought each other because of a disputed election. This IEBC ineptness and careless might become a security threat to our country. If they can't import stickers using the right procedure, how do you expect them to meet the "Maraga court" standards of electoral procedure strictness?

I don't understand why we still have Chebukati heading IEBC. He is incompetent and irresponsible.
Correction. We did not fight over a disputed election. Raila went to the streets with his goons and caused chaos. He won the petition and then refused to partake in the elections and then went to the streets again after losing his petition and that is how the handshake happened.

IEBC should conduct their activities to ensure no grounds for petitions or reason to rampage. Let the winner win it clearly whether Ruto or Raila

After all, they know the reasons for nullification in 2017, they should seal all avenues

The difference is UDA would use the internal mechanism provided by the IEBC to resolve disputes as they have always done.

It is only a certain group that is crying that the IEBC chairman is related to Wetangula, that he is a UDA mole, that he is stealing the elections for Ruto yet they have the so called deep state.

Agreed. That does not mean arbitrary arrests are a justification of malpractice.

Boss, 2007 elections. People died as a result. There are bonobos here who would say that those people would "eventually die".

You missed the point.
What is easier between putting control measures at the polling station only, or putting control measures at the sourcing, printing, transport, storage and at the polling station?

And what's the use of a ballot beyond indicating someone's preference? It's not like currency, which by contrast, is locally printed. The complex process just complicates a simple matter.

Ama tuifanye mlolongo

Hizo internal mechanism never work even if UDA was in power . Nothing wrong in police questioning those folks IEBC clearly knows why elections were nullified, it's in their best interest to remove all doubts
Ruto alisema deep state doesn't exist, hiyo ni creation ya itumbi.
If those fellows are clean, they'll be released and wakenya bado wata nunua mafuta 159
Hakuna deep state but there is government interference in the activities of independent institutions like the misuse of police to arrest officials hired by IEBC.

Btw, they have been already released.

I am just waiting to read a statement from IEBC giving us a chronology of events leading up to the arrest and after. In fact, they should put those 3 individuals on a podium to recount their experience in the hands of the state.

SO the people who died in the nasty 2017 PEV sio watu?
What an idiotic idea? More people died in 2007. How do you scale conflict without including the number of dead? Are you supposed to take their social classes into consideration ndio ujue who are more people? Shindwe!

Go for a refund mahali ulienda shule.
