Soda, bread, and water remind me of high school days, and it should remain in schools, not at a funeral of a man who ruled the country for 24 years.
Yesterday, while eulogizing his father, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, who is also the last born son told Kenyans how his father was a lover of meat and could have meat despite the doctor's warning.
So many Kenyans remember Mzee Moi for his 'Maziwa Ya Nyayo'
In my opinion, to celebrate a life well-lived, I would have served meat and milk. Meat because Mzee Moi loved it and could risk his life just to have It, and Milk because everyone remembers him for that.
Serving fellow Kenyans Soda, Bread and Water wasn't a wise decision. I'm assuming that was their breakfast and good food will be served later in the day. Besides it's a state funeral and its budget is Sh300 million, we deserve better.
