Sometimes African problems...

I have interacted with them on a personal level so I know what im saying.
Yeah kuna wa Rwanda there but wengi ni wa DRC na Burundi wameletwa na UNHCR, huwa wanajazana pale Westie wakitafuta papers wachukue alien ID. Siku hizi some even ride bodas. And some also have relatives in the west who support them.

Watu wa Butembo, Goma, Bukavu etc. South and North Kivu.

pole to say this, but for me they should all be in camps. Apart from rent, they don't support local businesses as they get rations from unhcr.

With the dysfunctional chaos we have, haiwesmake. And our government likes to kiss the ass of EU, US, UK and China, foreigners watazidi kuingia, kwanza Sudanese wamejaza watoi wao kwa primary schools za kanjo sana.

hiyo ndio shida yetu, kissing foreign ass. Yet huko nje we r treated like shit.

This statement can swing both ways, sometimes mtu wa mkono benefits more going to foreign lands because whatever he finds there is always a step higher than where he came from.
On the other hand chances of an educated guy falling behind from where he was are very high, unless he was recruited directly into an organisation.
I heard of a doctor who went to Canada from Kenya on Express entry program thinking he could do masters and become full Canadian doctor...alaa he was told he needs to spend 7 years on school again... now he is an uber driver earning $60 a year.

Then another Kenyan went as a nanny to her cousin's kids, waited 2 years to get permanent residency. Then went to do high school diploma, followed by nursing, then masters to be a nursing practitioner and now a prescribing doctor earning $236k a year...

Life is just crooked as it seems..

That is very true, the mzungus do not recognize our education system in many fields.
You have to go back and get certified by their institutions to be able to practice in their country.
I always advise people who want to go abroad, if you're already on 100k salary in KE, don't bother going abroad. You can make moves with that 100k here and go a long way in advancing as compared to someone earning 3000usd to 5000usd per month in the US. Almost half of that goes to taxes and student loans, the rest to bills and food.
