Solar power options. A follow up

I prefer separating charge controller from inverter for several reasons.It makes the system more modular and easy to upgrade or diagnose problems. In case of failure you don’t lose a lot.
If ready to top up ,then this is the best option . Ashike Victron Smartsolar 150/70 kadhaa and inverter charger
 
I know I should not tell you how to use your money but if I was in your shoes I would get four panels for now and use the 80k to get a 5kva low frequency inverter which will be equipped with an option to parallel in future and also comes with dual mppt strings .This will allow you to buy more panels in future with same rating as the Jinko or different rating and have that set on second string .Also the hybrid inverter you get at that price point will have a very good mppt and negligible zero load draw (less than 30 watts).
This is the quote. I haven't committed yet. I will definitely take your advice seriously. I have told them to reduce the panels to 4 and change to the low frequency inverter. Thanks so much.
 
This one is only 350,000 bob (without MPPT) while the TBB is 1/4 of the price.

Thanks everyone so far for your useful tips on solar. I have been up and down hunting for a reputable solar brand as suggested by listers. I checked on Victron and almost fainted. That one is out of my price range for now. I settled on Felicity solar, tracked it down in Nyamakima and got the specs below.
It's great seeing such great info and contributions from some quite knowledgeable people like @zapp_brannigan and others . On the hand, I am looking for a flat roof mount solar thermal water heater. I am leaning towards the flat collectors rather than the vacuum tubes. Any suggestion what brands have better quality and more efficient ones? Bosch had good ones a few years back but are no longer in the market. Your recommendations will highly be appreciated.

On Friday i was out and about and at the end of the day nikamalizia na some tracker installation pale ACMG Nakuru and their neighbors (Menengai and SpinKnit ) have solar panels on almost all the roof space available. I felt some happiness kama mtoto kuona those panels. Google maps below shows the numbers involved.
Menengai - Green roof
SpinKnit - Blue roof

FYI : hapa Ruaraka there are a couple of industries that have embraced solar power but not on the level ya Menengai Oil

I felt some happiness kama mtoto kuona those panels. Google maps below shows the numbers involved.

Most of these setups don't have a battery ,also the inverter PV voltage (VOC) are high meaning in some instances you have 10+ panels in series .The series setup means you can loop the original connectors without extra cables .Also the inverters are mounted near the panels as possible and parallel to give three phase .

Interesting. So how do they handle the variability of available sunlight?
