These are all low-quality, poorly-informed interpretations by individuals with ulterior motives. Egyptians would take war prisoners from all the surrounding communities, including as far away as Israel, Syria, and Turkey, to make them forced laborers. Two, what is often translated as 'slave' in the Egyptian context has very different meaning from the present-day meaning of the word. It would be as erroneous as calling your housegirl a slave. Actually, the so-called 'slave' could inherit their master's properties and even marry into the family. Two, the skin color interpretations we often make are shaped by present-day race dynamics; they have no meaning in the Egyptian context. Four, the Pyramids were constructed not by slaves but by skilled craftsmen aided by farmers. Finally, avoid cheap websites and lean more towards credible sources.

Poor interpretations. Perspectives in paintings make object sizes to appear different. An individual climbing a tree or laying on the ground does not communicate anything. If anything, a good tree climber would be more valued in society, the same way artisans were valued.

They were not. They were royalty of Egypt. Google Khafre, who built the pyramid of Giza. That guy is dark black. It's really hard for people to internalise this because we grade each other based on a European standard that puts the African at the bottom, to the Europeans political advantage. That standard is what has been taught to us all through formal education.
