I agree with you but the only difference is, we are actively fighting not to reach first world status, through, corruption, Greed and nepotism/tribalism.

There are countries ambazo mtu wao ikiumizwa while in a foreign country inakuwa a diplomatic row that men in suits have to traverse the world explaining. Holding that passport is a pride in itself. Lakini mkenya akiuliwa South Sudan hio ni shida yake na family yake.

Boss, I dont want us to build hospitals kwa hizo buffalo za army. all I asked is :is it wrong to send a charter plane to bring our children home who were stuck in Wuhan? They won't need these sophisticated beds!!! just stool kwa ndege ya kukalia and a bathroom to take a shit or pee on their way back . No need for ventilators.is this something hard for a third world country?

Won't happen senator, they are more safer in Wuhan, where the virus has been contained and there are government safety nets, eg government delivery of food to the households, something we can only dream of.

This is not self loathe but upuzi ya our administrators. I have a friend whose kid is stuck there. All members of that family in Kenya have lost weight. Yaani somethings makes you feel sorry to be born in this country. Ruto chartered a plane worth 400m to go to some country in west Africa in 2013. A plane of 10 million could have brought our kids home, quarantine them for 5 weeks and not 2 weeks and free them. Our priorities are misplaced senator

We have a warped implementation of the foreign policy, that's not in contestation, ministry of foreign affairs postings are a preserve of the elite Political/ business families, since from independence to date foreign affairs postings has been reserved for the political correct. That's why getting assistance from your country's Embassy is a rarity, when stuck in a foreign country.
