Serious advice needed

EMAmba

New Lister
This am planning to invest around 200-300k
In wholesale shop business
I will major In

Flour
Bar soaps
Rice
And other goods that are normally sold at various kiosks.
My intended location is back at home (rural areas) i will be supplying goods to the available kiosks.
Since i will start with one employee am planning to use an Online POS to monitor the sale because i won’t be available on a full time job.

Kindly shade light on how I will source the goods directly from the companies
And what measures I should put to avoid downfall.

One measure ni hiyo online POS won't prevent that guy you are thinking of hiring from stealing. Itakubidi umeweka CCTV pia na upige random visits to the shop to review footage and take inventory
Asante sana
On how to source goods directly do you have any information?

Secretly treat your employees as known thieves (because they Kenyan) who haven't stolen from you yet, and put measures and controls to catch them WHEN they eventually do steal.

Most people don't know that sometimes buying goods directly from the company is expensive.
I have no idea how is expensive?
So it’s good to source from a well known distributor
Distributors sometimes have pressure to clear stock before they near expiration. Factories dont have that pressure, products are fresh off the line. Also that capital is seriously low for a wholesale business ,Might be sufficient for a retail shop.
