These are Aberdeen Angus, originally from Scotland, there are varieties of European beef cattle that mature within 18 months, that's over 1000kg of meat. I mean, if you guys have the land for pasture, and the milk industry is in a downward trajectory, why not venture into beef production ?
@Aviator , I'm not sure what kind of dairy cattle you have, can you can weigh your options, on importing embryos, and let you cows carry the pregnancy .
Consult your veterinarian though.
