Maintaining students in schools particularly in boarding is very difficult, is was just last week the government disbursed the capitation funds to schools ; if you have be keen everyday you never fail to see schools kid in bus stations, chased home to get school fee ! It's difficult and no hope in near future

Hio pesa ya 1 week ..imagine a high school with 2000 pupils, food ya 1 week which had been budgeted for...why not just release them as scheduled by the ministry on 29 June?

Its only food suppliers who are getting paid. The capitation received was so little that their budgets exceeded what was received. Remember in January every high school kid got 4000 KES.
Just last week was less than 2500 KES. With this you are expected to purchase food, lab accessories and chemicals, improve in infrastructure, pay Bom teachers and subordinate workers, Buy computers. Stationery, steal your cut asiiii. The hustle is not worth it. Looking for one @Eng'iti a nipatie mwelekeo mpya Hata akinitolea fom ya kuenda Minnesota sijakataa
