Sale of cigarettes banned in Botswana

In a notice published in the Government Gazette, the Botswana government said the importation or sale of tobacco and related products has been prohibited during the ongoing state of public emergency. It warned that anyone found contravening the ban would be arrested and liable to a fine or prison sentence.

I think Botswana is overreacting to this covid. There is already a state of emergency to last for 28 days and the president want to extend it to 6 months with 95 percent of the businesses closed.
Wonder how they will do it.
