A Kitengela woman is in police custody after she stabbed her daughter, and ate body parts including heart, kidney and lungs.
In the video that has been circulating online, the lady identified as Olivia, first sang to the daughter while the girl was crying and quickly started stubbing her while singing.
Reports indicate that Olivia's aunt said she had started shouting and speaking in tongues on Sunday night before breaking utensils, windows, and the TV.
This was before she grabbed her child and started stabbing her.
They attempted to tell her to leave the child but she went on to eat the baby’s body parts.
Some also say she had travelled to visit her boyfriend in Kirinyaga and had stayed there for 8 months before returning to Kitengela earlier this month, and it is not clear what had happened in Kirinyaga.
“When she arrived at their Kitengela home, she even helped her mother prepare chapatis and all the time she would jump on her mother and show her a lot of love,” a witness said
