I saw a post in which someone claimed if the subsidy is abolished today petrol could retail at KES 145, I am not very well versed on the mathematics behind fuel pricing but if true then it needs to go, we owe petroleum dealers KES 70B, that is 1/7th of all NG pending bills, we are way too deep in that hole it is time to stop digging

One, the price for sep -oct will be based on Aug 21-22 crude oil prices- about $95. So expect around ksh 185-190 for super petrol, and ksh. 175-180 for diesel. This is if the order to remove subsidies take effect immediately
