Not to oppress them but to give them a chance at a better life, remember in those days if the men were slaughtered in battle the women would find it difficult to survive

Really?A better life with the person who killed your father, brother, husband? You god has a sense of humour. Or women can have any trauma appeased with trinkets (and a good dicking)?
