Relationships are like the backbone that keeps our lives moving. A good relationship, makes one stable both emotionally and physically. I have often wondered how our mothers and fathers maintained such good relations with each other for decades. I am sure it is not because of our fathers being good. They were not. They were if anything jerks. You can imagine a man who drinks alcohol, coming home wanting food and yet he left nothing
Or better still, a man who makes you pregnant goes to work in a far away town which you cannot access for years if not months before he can come home. Yes, that kind of a man.
But the funny thing, our mothers sat there and waited, patiently. The current kind of issue of cheating was not there. They rarely did. But nowadays everything is bad. I would wish to blame it on the people but I won't.
I think the issue of technology has played a big role in shaping this kind of menace. Due to it, people can meet easily and talk and even plan dates and escapades without meeting. A person then will travel all the way under the pretence of going to visit a grandmother in upcountry yet they have gone philandering.
If you get a genuine partner, thank heavens. It is wonderful to be loved right. A person that genuinely cares for you. Life can't get any better if not with good morning texts, whether you had your lunch, or a good night beb text.
The rise of masculinity crusaders and feminists has its impact in this too. You get online and see a thread that says men are trash. If you follow these blindly, you will suffer the brute of being lonely at your old age. Be careful with your choices.
Men are good people. If you treat them right, you will get a good soft landing. In your own opinion, what do you think is bringing out divorces and separations in relationships apart from what I have pointed out?
