These cases you need to understand are not just stand-alone cases.

You go after the most obvious case which links as many of these big fish as possible.

YOU pressure the small one to give up the big ones.

They don't have to go to prison.

They just have to be under immense pressure.

As a deterrent.

You have spent too much time watching shows like suits. Corruption fights back otherwise people like Babu Owino would be behind bars. Tell me, how does someone make a deal in court to cater for the medical bills of someone they allegedly didn't shoot? Beyond that, they have the opportunity to exhaust all levels of appeal from the lowest court to the highest.

The solution is not simple, neither is it perfect. The ideal is to offer an amnesty. Whoever has stolen money has the opportunity to return or negotiate a settlement. Those who do, the slate is wiped clean. Cases closed.

Judicial reform is also key. Because when the amnesty program ends, every single case of corruption that arises will have to be expedited.
 
Today they are still on the streets, with no agenda whatsoever. Just looting, vandalism, and arson taking place. Is this what those supporting this nonsense in the call of reboot wanted? How many people are gaining when 100% of businesses are closed in Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, etc? What will they achieve at the end of the day?
