True, the pics look too familiar despite the fact that they all happened in India. This brings us to one important question; were these former British colonies designed to fail in a similar manner? Every problem you spot in Kenya will have happened in India a few years back. Think of exam cheating, rot learning, corrupt leaders, ineffective public service, a corrupt police force, a dysfunctional healthcare system, clogged transport systems, a bourgeoisie class built on the backs of slum dwellers, and a chaotic public transport system The list goes on and on ad infinitum. In my reckoning, there must be some common colonial legacies that predispose these distinct populations to the same shortcomings.

There are many former Spanish and French colonies that are also shitty. Haiti and several Latin American nations come to mind. Philippines too ni shida but they were colonized by Spain.

Africans should just take responsibility for their shit. Omusungu is long gone. He is never coming back to help us get out of the hole. Ponder why the working systems left behind no longer work. Water supply, hospitals, public schools, markets, pedestrian walkways, govt bureaucracy et al. Two words; corruption and lack of vision.
Further reading; The Master plan of 1948. Therein, you will see that omusungu had everything figured out for omwafrika but once omwafrika took over, he never proceeded as per plan due to corruption and lack of vision for tomorrow.
