I remember this insulting nonsense was forced down Wanjiku's throat eti ili kufanya a retiring president and a retiring deputy president don't engage in active politics. Raila, Kalonzo and Mudavadi are receiving those monies and perks and yet they are still engaged in high octane politics!!! The only alive person who truly retired is mzee Moody Awori.

Wow, must be nice. Does it mean the eligible children were also receiving a salary?
What does "eligibility" mean in the context of this subject?

Na tukikumbuka vile us Kenyans are obsessed na mambo ya dynasties, what happens if any or all of the president's immediate family members remain in active politics? For example in Raila's family, Ida odinga is definitely going to contest for a gubernatorial post and the brats will be gunning for, at the possible least, parliamentary posts in 2027. If Raila wins the presidency and the members of his family become as successful in 2027 or at any other time in the future, even during his presidency, do they continue to receive the same benefits or what? What about the benefits of the positions they will be occupying?
