Poor Guka

There was a ka-arrogance that was with those people who were moneyed in the 1970s. Some never saw hiyo tu-pesa yao ikiisha.
I saw one kick out his widowed sister from his 200 acre farm on the instigation of one of his wives. Baadaye he lost all his money, closed shops, thriving dairy farm collapsed and the 15 children who were not doing very well in school each went their way to seek low level livelihoods.
Meanwhile the God of fortunes smiled on his sent away sister and her six children, they did well in school, got good jobs and some later went into biz and they are doing very well.
One of the the lady's sons who was my age when their house was demolished as they were being evicted by the uncle. We have kept in touch and in December he told me the uncle had sent out a cry of help analaliwa na medical bills for himself and the senior wife. I advised him wamsaidie ni kama kazi ya mungu.
Even today we have arrogant filthy rich people !

If someone is 78 years you are left with less than 7 years before you die, why fight your brother over something that you will leave behind in less than 5 years ? Then your kids will sell it even before you start rotting??
See now? Ushaona atakufa in less than 5 years...hakuna kitu kama hiyo
