With his governance style allegiances have shifted. I was firmly behind him with many of us shifting to whomever will make sense in 2027. It's not Ruto, that am certain without a speckle of doubt. There are some mistakes once you make even NSIS finds it an uphill task to turn the narrative around. The same mistakes Uhuru made when he ill times BBI against advice of many but he muscled his way nontheless. Nabii is doing the very same mistakes his predecessor did and even worse by hurting wanjikus pockets with unwanton disregard.

In Kenya history has taught us that the incumbency is a baggage if you don't perform.

In 2002 Kibaki was voted by 62%. By 2007 he was so unpopular and we know what happened.

In 2013 Uhuru beat Raila by a few votes.He was unable to build his popularity during the 5 years and in 2017 elections had to be nullified because of irregularities.

2022 the difference was less than 200k votes. As we talk, my friends who voted for this government are admitting it was a mistake. Even here in klist the mood can tell you people are tired.

This is like Kibaki 2002. People had so much hopes on Kibaki lakini two years later it was obvious Kibaki would be a one term president. He had lost popularity. Na ujue those days there was no social media so news wasn't spreading fast.
