Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has never spoken in Parliament. Meaning he has made zero contribution in the National Assembly since 2017. He has one job....

This is according to a Parliamentary Scorecard released on Wednesday morning by Mzalendo Trust, a Parliamentary Monitoring Organization (PMO).

According to the Annual Parliamentary Scorecard for the third Session of the 12th Parliament released yesterday, a total of 21 members did not utter a single word during the entire session.

Of the 21, 19 are from the National Assembly with two being from the Senate. Male legislators dominate the list.
How are you a Member of Parliament if you don't talk in Parliament?

How does 'speaking in Parliament' help anyone if what they mostly discuss is petty nonsense or sham debates on matters that have already been decided by the Executive?

When he speaks, that guy minces no words. He is way more articulate than all those educated blowhards in the chamber.

The other silent MPs include Abdi Tepo (Isiolo South), Abdi Shurie (Balambala), Ahmed Gaal (Tarbaj), Johnson Naicca (Mumias West), Amin Deddy (Laikipia East) Geofrey Kingagi (Mbeere South), James Gakuya (Embakasi North), George Aladwa (Makadara) and John Owino (Awendo).

The rest are Stanley Muthama (Lamu West), Gideon Konchella (Kilgoris), Justus Kizito (Shinyalu), Alfred Sambu (Webuye East) and James Mukwe (Kabuchai).



Rose Museo (Makueni), Beatrice Kones (Bomet East) and Amina Gedow (Mandera) were the silent women in the House.

As my MP, I admit he's a thug like sonko ( former pharmacist too) but kwa ground amefanya kazi. Took advantage of the Last Mile project to connect thousands, built cattledips, milk cooling plants, rural roads, youth employment, sponsored and built churches etc. I doubt he'll have a rival in 2022 if he decides to run as MP again though tunaskia anataka kiti ya Mandago. Hapo itakua ngumu kidogo. Buzeki ako na mguu moja ndani already.
