UPDATE: Police impound two vehicles ferrying 52 people (47 people in a lorry and 5 in a pickup) who work as labourers in a farm in Murang'a.

Muranga South DCC Mawira Mungania says the 52 will be quarantined while the owner of the farm will be charged for risking the lives of his workers by not adhering to regulations to curb spread of COVID-19.

That employer amefanya makosa sana. Those are innocent people fending for their families. Putting them on quarantine without a better justification is inhuman.

Don't just blame the employer. Even the one taking them to qurantine is a stupid twat. You should be dealing wth he issue case ti case basis. No one, absolutely no one would be risking his life if he had a better option.

COVID 19 has given governments the world over an excuse to become more authoritarian. Hata CBD police walk around with whips to beat up people who congregate.

Very correct ,law and regulations need wisdom to interpret, emotions and side shows apana !

why did he have to use a lorry with poor ventilation, they could have used public means and at least wear masks. People need to get serious, what the point of risking ones health to earn and the next day you are fighting for your life.
