Good political leadership is about achieving the best outcome possible for the society. If the best outcome for a society is to have a good school, and the politician achieves that, he is a good leader. He has achieved his goal and deserves praise.
Let me elaborate using a better example. Supposing you were a CEO of Safaricom and the board tasks you with building brand new HQ. You are using Safaricoms funds and are getting paid a salary to do this work. You start off and complete it after some time. Would you feel a sense of accomplishment? Would your work be praise worthy?
Why is the CEO work praise worthy while the politician is not?
