If constituency A has150 k population and deserves 2 MPs, one is elected by the voters and the other selected by the party

I'm surprised you'd not see a problem with that but I will break it down for you.

If kibera deserves 3 mps but has only one constituency after the elections, based on the number of voters, it proves it deserves 2 more mps selected by the party,
At the end of the day, they will be voting for party interests even if those interests are diametrically opposed to the interests of kibera people because the party nominated them and can strip them of that role!!
