Kwani kuna tofauti ya Title number na plot number when it comes to land? Nimekwaruza Google for such info na sipati kitu. Ama plot number ndio land registration number?

Kulingana na plot niko nayo, title number appears on the front page with the physical location starting with the District name.
Alafu page 2 Part A (Property Section) kuna actual plot/parcel number and its size which is then expounded via a surveyor's diagram in subsequent pages

Title number is just a serial number of the document.
The document contains details of the land, including (but not limited to) the plot number, registered owner, size, etc.

Think of it like a car logbook. It has a number, then there's the car registration details.

Word of the day:
elu·ci·date | \ i-ˈlü-sə-ˌdāt \
elucidated; elucidating

Essential Meaning of elucidate
formal : to make (something that is hard to understand) clear or easy to understand.
Example in a sentence: @mkurugenzi was asked by the kijiji to elucidate on Azimio's policies but he declined as he hadn't received his 527/- of the day.
I have elucidated and annotated

Elucidate, my friend.
This is like trying to explain 'for example' using 'for example'.
Ahsanteni sana. This was an opportunity to learn something new.

Again I repeat, you are the kind who make for great teachers. Simplifying complex matters in a simple and memorable way. Kudos

He is WRONG. Title number is like a car registration no ie number plate eg KDE 2567 X.
Plot number is like the car's actual identity ie chassis number eg URJ202-000345678 which means it is a 2015 Toyota V8 VX 4600cc with that serial number.

You are right and wrong too.
The old titles had a title number as the plot number on the front page, then a serial number at the back page. These are being phased out.

Current titles (the digitized for Nairobi) have a Title Number and then all references to relevant documents and details on the same front page.

His ID has a serial number and an ID number too.

Title number = ID number
Plot number = your full name.
Wewe na kammau hakuna tofauti

Kamau visited a 5-star hotel in Paris.
As he sat enjoying his juice, a sexy French woman came to his table, asked him something in French, which he wasn't able to understand.

He invited her to sit down, took a napkin and drew a picture of a juice (🍹)
glass. She nodded, and he ordered a glass of juice for her.

After a while, he took another napkin, drew a picture of a plate with food on it (🍝), and she nodded.

They ordered dinner, after which he took another napkin and drew a picture of a couple dancing(👫). She nodded, and they got up to dance.

When they were back at their table, the young lady took a napkin and drew a picture of a screw.(🔩)

To this day, Kamau is bloody scratching his head to figure out how on earth the lady knew about his hardware shop on Kirinyaga road!!...😝
