Nguya Menace

Wadau nisaidie.
Am experiencing an infestation of nguya. Kukinyesha kidogo tu, they flood everywhere.

Worst is when it rains at night and they cloud around my security lights. Then they drop down in their millions, wings scattered everywhere. Then my cat feats on them mpaka kanakua bloated.

Is there a solution to this menace?

Termites. The nguya you experience when it rains are mature ready to reproduce termites on the way to establishing the next termite colonies that can attack any wooden structure around your home.
Look for termite nests around your home and destroy them.
Any experienced pest control company can help you solve the problem.
Switching of the lights is atemporary solution that defeats the purpose why you put the lights in the first place: security.

Unless zinatoka kwa neighborhood, coz 90% of my space is concrete, the remaining 10% is grass and I can't see any sign of a nest anywhere.
Is there any repellent that can keep them at bay?

Marry a second Mbaruhya wife. Between them and the cat you'll have the problem solved.......
