Murder most foul

Police in trans Nzoia have arrested a 28-year-old man who allegedly killed his 56-year-old mother after she allegedly refused to give him some money to buy alcohol.

According to sources, the 28 year old dragged his mother yesterday night from her bedroom to the toilet where he allegedly beat her up and stabbed her severally on her chest leaving her dead.He then went to one of their neighbours house and confessed what he had done and when the neighbours come they found the mother already dead.

Her body was taken to Kitale county referral hospital mortuary where it is lying awaiting postmortem.

The suspect was then taken to Maili Saba police station after being apprehended by the neighbours where he is being currently held awaiting to face murder charges.
