Mass Covid-19 testing for all truck drivers

The government has ordered targeted mass testing of truck drivers after it emerged that Kenya has been exporting Covid-19 to neighbouring countries.
This comes as the government confirmed 12 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of those who have tested positive to 355.
 
No problem with that but the county volunteer medics who are taking temp checks are overzealous.
Temp slightly above normal off you go to quarantine where you wait for up to four days before your first test
Had they done that in the airports we would have beaten this
 
Kenya is a curious country where doing the most obvious common thing escapes those charged with the responsibility.
Why are they only being found to have the virus at the Kenya -Uganda border yet there are tests purported to be carried out on them at various intervals on their route from Mombasa?
Something wrong with the Kenyan tests?

1500 tests per day and here tunajipiga kifua with just 500
 
Truckers are a high risk group due to their mobility and interactions with local communities along their routes. They should be targeted for mass testing without delay.

True. But to be fair to them, no one noticed this problem in East Africa until truckers tested positive in Uganda. I wonder what they are doing in other regions across the world.

Rumours have it that UG and RW might insist on locally based truckers to move trucks within their territories or you offload at the border. Ni kweli?
