The MOU is about countering the murima hegemony that Rigathi is happy to be driving. It is the smart political move for someone who wants a second term.

Ruto is not doing it to win elections but to hold together until elections. If at any time it becomes evident that Ruto is about to lose overwhelmingly, Raila will turn against him, in a televised performance for maximum impact. That could explain why Raila's closest apostles are not singing aloud. That way the larger party won't have long explaining to do.

Kindly get off social media. Huko ni midro class na watoto who never even vote. Kura kwa ground is the only thing that matters.
If you think kwa ground Raila still doesn't retain his fanatical support, you will be shocked.
I have also said it here before. Gachagua is despised even by his own neighbours. Anybody who associates with Gachagua is going nowhere. He is toxic and Ruto did the right thing to throw him out.
