I've been following the debates in the Senate and unfortunately, in GEMA region most of our Senators are old, lack oomph, aggression and energy to push things.

Except someone like Senator Mwaura who's nominated and Wamatangi...

Can you expect Nyeri cheneta Ephraim Maina to go toe-to-toe with Murkomen, or Njeru Ndwiga to confront Aron Cheruiyot, or Guka Mwangi Githiomi to confront Chargei?

The three may have wealth but their brains are already tired.

The mumbo-jumbo that happened at Pangani during Jubilee nominations in 2017, left Mount Kenya region with a group of old senators who lack fire in their bellies, while a region like Rift Valley ended up with young senators with very quick tongues..

Mount Kenya, next time, let's go for brains and young lawyers for Senatorial seats. If a Senator cannot ably contribute in the Senate to protect the devolved resources of his/her county, it's just useless to have one.
Our Guka may be old but he can rant and rave very intelligently and coherently
