Mineral Deposits in Kenya?

mzeiya

Elder Lister
Of late, the story has been gaining traction that we hold a lot of valuable mineral reserves and that the elites and external forces have been hiding this from us for over a hundred years. It is a tale I am yet to fully board as that is not my area of expertise.

Proponents of this notion bring about evidence that our protected areas i.e. national parks, reserves, conservancies and even the reason the British are still lurking around is due to the said underground wealth resources.

A big catalyst of this store was the truck that angukad with the cyanide pale Rironi which supposedly was meant to extract gold from Western Kenya.

There's also the fact that Marsabit residents discovered gold deposits sometime back and apparently the area got cordoned off by the state and extraction was done.

We also remember of the Turkana oil, Lamu and Kitui coal which at least tunajua ilikanyagiwa chini despite it being worth in the region of trillions and of course, cheap energy.

Damn, watu hadi wanashuku kama TATA Chemicals in Magadi only mine soda ash seeing it's a closed operation. Don't even get me started on this lady who was in tao jana..

I'll leave you to watch this vid and deduce what you may....

True, i have been to a mine in kwale that is not well known, politicians and cartels heavily guard it...infact ata maendeo hawataki, they want to control the road and infrastructure development in that area...i even have a gem i got from the mine

It now makes sense.

In 2019 I went with some friends to Mombasa. We hired a local guide who took us through the old town tukamlipa 3k.

Guy was excited. Akatuambia next time we return to Mombasa he will take us somewhere in Taita where we'll buy minerals and sell them. Anyway, we brushed him off tukasema ni madre.

Former CJ Mutunga alisema kenya is a bandit economy because politicians collaborate with cartels to loot.

Why do you think they claim kenya will sink to anarchy like Somalia and Sudan just because of youth protesting peacefully in the streets without weapons? That only happens when there is a military coup against sitting govt, but that is not happening in kenya any time soon. Kenya has a professional military.

They are simply afraid of a new constitution-led order because it will deny them lucrative looting opportunities while they burden the rest with taxes. These resources if managed well can be used to pay off any legitimate debt we have and develop the country further
