miguna will sue the government whether under this administration or next and tax payers will foot the bill, if miguna acquired passport illegally, let him come with the emergency papers and arrest him at the airport.

what papers did he travel to Germany on? why can't he present himself to the Kenyan embassy in Canada and follow the correct procedure of re-acquiring the Kenyan PP??
The Kenyan government is not interested in arresting MM, if they were, he could be in prison as we type this(for various reasons btw).

He says that if he follows procedure he will become a naturalized citizen. He argues that being a naturalized citizen would limit his ability to vie for or work in certain positions that citizens with double allegiance are not eligible for.

Lakini ukiulizwa which court of law decided that Miguna acquired his citizenship illegally?

If indeed he did acquire it illegally, the procedure is arrest and arraign him in court for him to have a chance to defend himself. This procedure, which even terrorists are subjected to, was not followed. Who gave the executive authority to determine whether or not his citizenship was acquired illegally?

Why lobby when the Constitution of Kenya 2010 has already repealed the independence Constitution alongside the provisions of statutory laws that are inconsistent with it?

The matter was settled in 2018, Miguna Miguna is a Kenyan citizen who had a valid passport at the time of his arrest, the Immigration Department had their day in court and lost.

You are confusing issues here. Miguna is a Kenyan citizen - thats not in question.
What is disputed is his Kenyan passport. if he can get that sorted, hii kizungu mingi haitakuwa. Miguna is not unique neither is he the 1st person to seek asylum away from this country.
The government has several options of dealing with mm and right now they have chosen the option they are using.

That's why the courts said he be issued with emergency travel papers, when he lands he applies for a new passport and be issued within 7 days. If he acquired the previous passport illegally, I think the government has all the machinery to prosecute himin courts of law.
All these media sideshows can be easily be avoided by not giving it fuel but government nikama someone somewhere is busy stoking it.

there is nothing like energency travel papers. The procedure of getting a new passport is very clear. So instead of rushing to court to get stupid orders, he should be rushing to the nearest Kenyan embassy to get a new passport.

An Emergency Travel Certificate is a one-way travel document issued to citizens of Kenya to enable them travel to Kenya in lieu of a Kenya passport.

The biggest problem with this is that the government is openly in defiance of its own rules and statutes.

This path that they have chosen to take will only lead to more anarchy down the road.

Nothing will mean anything.

Anarchy will rule.

And Kenya will be just like the Wild West.
