Did you read the article fully or just parts of it? She joined a proscribed group on her own volition. Nobody knows to what extent she has been brainwashed and she now wants to come back in a country that has experienced bombing from extremist groups. Asiye funzwa na mamaye hufunzwa na ulimwengu.
The million dollar question would be whether the other two girls were also stripped of their citizenship or it was only her who is of Pakistani decent.

Just like that Canadian idiot who joined ISIS and publicly announced he wasn't interested in ever going back to his home, she publicly gave up her citizenship because she saw cameras and decided to show the world how tough she was. They accepted and revoked her citizenship.

I say, good on them. Let her stay in the "paradise" she described when the cameras were on her.

I did read the whole article @Montecarlo. In fact I have been following this case for some time now. The reason I mentioned Miguna is because these two cases have similar material facts and have been decided in similar manner (stare decisis) albeit by different jurisdictions.

Miguna had among other charges a case of illegal swearing-in which is a crime against the state - high treason. This British woman engaged in a crime against the state through terrorism.

I also wanted to highlight the fact that during Miguna’s episode, folks kept saying how a citizen by birth can not be denied entry back to his country and how Kenya was behaving in such a primitive and draconian way.
