Elder Lister
Born in 1935 to a farming family, El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba, the shortest in height of all African leaders then (4"11), was the President of Gabon for 42 years, from 1967 until his death in 2009. He was a dictator and very corrupt. At the time of his death, Bongo was the longest-serving head of state in Africa and the longest-serving head of government in the world.
