That old train niliwahi panda as a kid in 1999 from Kisumu to Nairobi we took 48 hours. Kwanza tulifika somewhere before Nakuru and it just stopped for hours without any communication

2007 nilipanda ya Nairobi to KSM, tuliondoka 6 pm, tulifika Londiani station 9 am, later the mbogi got stuck. Some people had to wait for one to be brought from Nairobi, I had to finish the rest of the journey by road because I couldn't bear wasting 12 more hours waiting.
