SUBJECT: COVID 19 UPDATE.
It was reported by one driver namely Benson Juma of phone number 0727762348, a luo male adult aged 33 years, and a truck driver of Rashid Mills company, that he crosed the Kenya - Uganda border at Busia on 16/04/2020 destained to Mombasa. At Nairobi he stopped at General Motors and picked take away food. He proceeded towards Mombasa while feeling sick. On arrival at Miasenyi centre passed VOI town, he felt so sick and was unable to drive and called covid 19 hot line since he had some difficulty in breathing. He was picked by an ambulance from Taita Taveta decease surveillance team and taken to Mwatate isolation center where he was admitted in an isolation ward. Samples were taken and sent to Killifi KEMRI Laboratory for analysis and results. He complained of chest pains and difficulty in breathing. The health officials who received the patient have also been quarantined at JV hotel within Mwatate. They were handed over to two of their colleagues. Further progress report to follow.

2. There was a working hotline to call.
2. He was promptly picked up an ambulance.
3. He was put in isolation.
4. Those who handled him were also put in isolation.
5. Local police then sent a signal about the incident.
Very few countries have achieved this.
Fun Fact: Only now is Germany asking all its citizens to put on masks, ONE WEEK AFTER KENYA DID.
