At first nliingia kama jagger snr. Member #56. Saa izo akina @highschooler and/deorro ndio walikua admin. Tukatulia alafu kijiji ikakuja kushika moto after like 6 months. Ndio na mm nkarudi kutoka shughli, forgot my logins but signed in as jagger_snr na nka holla @admini, na akanipea ranks kulingana na uzee. Sasa hii admini mpya hapana tambua mimi coz apparently, anataka ni sync my yahoo na Gmail.

The new admin wants our data at all costs, which is why Gmail and Twitter are the only sync options. Watu wengi wamejidoxx kimakosa in the process including well known villagers like Chifumbitika. The mobile app is also meant to mine user data. That's what has put me off kabisaaa. I can get used to that ugly cluttered UI lakini there's something fishy about the new registration process and features. Badala ya ku address hizo concerns wanasema oooh xenforo was more intrusive and a time bomb, oooh haturudi misri. Nashuku wanataka kuuza data yetu to 3rd parties or worse, hand it over to GKs.

But you can still use a secure browser and run the web version. I have not tried the app myself. What makes you think both Kenyanlist, and the older Kenya talk or indeed any other websites do not store your data?

Since it's customizable to a fault as you claim, why hasn't the admin re-created some of the features of the previous software? For example, why is the home page such a confusing mess? Why is quoting a reply here far easier than doing so there?

I wonder why he didn't do a test-run and let users choose what worked for them. He strikes me as someone with little knowledge of the business side of running a discussion forum. He's just a dev who's excited about implementing a shiny new interface that only he likes. If he had any clue on how to run a forum, he'd be less nonchalant and apathetic.

Doesn't help that the moderator over there is a thick ass-licking yes-man. It will take them years to undo that blunder, if they will at all. Hopefully, a new village that will serve the interests of disgruntled ex-senators and disillusioned ex-MCA springs up and addresses everyone's needs.

Stop lying bro. That UI is a mess. Its clustered and everything is a mess. Most members who were very active and vocal in the old Ktalk are nowhere to be seen. Threads are getting very little replies something that didnt happen in the old Ktalk. Just admit that you fucked up. Na uyo admin anajipiga kifua sana yet its sinking down.
