Matatus 🚐

Fuel has increased by 19%. But the matatus have increased fare by 30% per passenger.
And according to you fuel increase of 19% should only affect PSVs? It won't affect vehicles transporting food stuffs and other commodities and therefore any change in price must be pari pasu with fuel change?

I support increase of taxes on beer to over 80% tax. Parking in Nairobi City should be increased to atleast 2k per day to increase city revenue. Also taxes on petrol should be increased too to cover for a reduced price for diesel
Speaking of parking, be careful in CBD even on Sunday, kanjo are ambushing guys driving slowly looking for parking ati obstruction ama double parking charges and demanding anything from 5-8k or they tow your vehicle. Wako njaa mbaya sana.

Ama Kite - Westy direct early in the morning na SM. Back to OP they tried increasing fare either this year or the last but they later scrapped them due to low numbers of passengers, hapa bei itamaintain especially for town service
