Massive Landslide in Gatanga

A massive landslide last night hit Mbugiti village in Gatanga Constituency, swept off several acres of tea bushes and rendered several families homeless.
No one was injured as the owners had vacated their homes after noticing some cracks on their compounds.
The siltation has blocked Kimakia River which is a tributary of Chania River
