Marx had foreseen the current meltdown

Communism caused millions of avoidable deaths.

Marxism is a dead ideology no country actually practices today, including Russia and China

The economics of it was terrible BECAUSE the managers were there for vibes like Kenya Kwanza.

Lip service and Murder/abductions.

The current squad aren't fucking around.

AND the software is also very important.

Chinese are ready and willing to put it all on the line for dear leader.

They have been poor before just 40 years ago. 🤯

Which makes them a poor match for USA :D

How many deaths has capitalism caused in needless wars?
Capitalism does not create wars. Politicians, power hungry people or scarcity creates wars, which has been the case since time immemorial.

Capitalism helps limit wars by creating an abundance for everyone through efficient use of resources.

However, globalization needs a balance. When skewed largely one way or the other, some are likely to suffer. It was a mistake for America to become benevolent to everyone at its own expense for such a long time, by using as a mixture of hard and soft power to become the world's police. They now have to figure out a reset if they are to avoid a collapse that will be inevitable if things don't change.

They became extremely poor because of communism. They had to abandon communism to get where they are. Their whole economy is based on feeding the market created by capitalism.
My friend China was a capitalist country for millennia and had periods of prosperity that would be interrupted by intermittent wars with their neighbours and among themselves, devastating the quality of life. China only became communist in 1949, and their governance system where the leader's thoughts (manifesto) are scrutinized and reviewed by the General Assembly (every spring) have yielded the current progress. Of course their system is not pure communism but a hybrid that fortunately is people centered, providing essential social services and the infrastructure for personal growth.

Capitalism does not create abundance because the resources in our world are finite, in fact in economics science we say they are scarce. Capitalism redistributes the resources and allocates most of them to a few (the entrepreneurs) who also influence policy to 1) Protect their wealth and capital and 2) Occasionally allow the middle class to keep a bit more of their incomes or have credit advanced to them so they keep making the entrepreneurs richer.

Capitalism, in its pure form, will make you sick so that it makes money out of your illness or keeping you alive.

It's not a coincidence that the poorest Chinese have ever been was after the Mao Communist Revolution.

Capitalism is responsible for competition, innovation and efficiency that allows making more use of the available resource (and also finding new uses for already abundant resources like using the sun to produce electricity).

Capitalism rewards risk. That is why those who take risks by starting companies are rewarded more than the rank and file employees, who also play a useful role, but took up much less risk.

If someone creates a new successful industry or company, and is compensated by billions and employs people who earn less, everyone still benefits. Rather than more people fighting over an ever shrinking pie.

Imagine if humans hadn't invented animal husbandry and stuck to hunting and gathering, the wildlife population would have gone down with an increasing human population.

In capitalism, you exchange by cooperation.
When you grow cotton and the other guy owns the ginnery, the ginner will pay you just enough to keep you growing the raw material he needs. If you withhold your produce so he pays you a price to make you rich, he moves on to the next producer and you've to sell at throwaway price. There's nothing like cooperation where one wields more power over the other.
