I am not certain Martha Karua would have challenged Mzee Kibaki the same way she is doing to Uhuru. Assuming devolution was in place.
She was a powerful Minister in the Kibaki era.

The problem is the president, if there is no goodwill up there then everything fails. If she was the president i believe she would do a great job, but not as a subservient minister under a confused president like uhuru

Karua was Kibaki's fiercest defender. Right or wrong !
 
Karua hates konyagi with a passion since he was given the position of DPM. He was imbibing at the grand regency hotel, while she fought, Ruto, Orengo, miguna, and other odm thugs at KICC Dec 27th2007, he was promoted, while she wasn't. From minister of local government.

She was part of the best administration to ever govern this nation and she has never been implicated let alone mentioned in a single case of corruption, it is fair to say she is a way better prospect for the Presidency than any other current politicians.

What i love most about her is that she is not a pushover, that woman has the courage of a lion.
